Sports infrastructure

Sunbeam lays great emphasis on sports. Our physical education department has more than 10 PETs. All games and sports facilities are available at Sunbeam. We have more than 15 acres of playground space with a 400 metres track.

Sunbeam has moulded good number of sports loving children into National level sports achievers. Sunbeam highlights the importance of sports by hosting a special sporting event called Sportsbeam.

The infrastructure and facilities provided for Sunbeamians include a tournament size football field, special cricket nets, specialist coach for athletics, basketball court, professionally maintained 8 lane 400m. track, tennis court and grounds for all other games like volleyball, throwball, handball, etc. Every Sunbeamian gets exposed to games and sports activities.

Sunbeam maintains all play grounds excellently to enable our children to learn and make friends at the same time. And they can test their \physical development and problem-solving skills whilst playing with others.

ATHLETICS AT WALAJA SUNBEAM

• Expert, Professional and Certified Coaches with expertise in sprinting, distance running, hurdles, and other track events with customized training plans for athletes at all levels, from beginners to elite competitors.

• Hosting of intra-school and inter-school athletic meets, including sprints, distance races, relays, and field events.

• Training for Tournaments: Preparation for district, state, and national athletic competitions.

• Conducting several State Level cluster meets.
