1. What are the school timings?

Our school timings are as mentioned: From KG to 5th Grade – 9:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

From Class 6th onwards – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2. Which classes does Sunbeam conduct?

We are a K–12 standard school. All classes from kindergarten to higher secondary are fully operational at Sunbeam.

3. What is the admission process?

Usually people chase the correspondent .But in reality there is an admission committee consisting of the senior mgt. Team which does the admissions transparently.Our admission policy is in-line with the guidelines given by the CBSE from time to time. All the admission-related queries can be cleared with the assistant administrative officer of the school during school hours. 4. What is the curriculum followed in school?

We are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Thus, we follow the curriculum designed by CBSE.

5. How do you assess a student’s performance in your school?

Along with the monthly internal assessment tests, we also conduct term exams followed by annual exams to monitor and evaluate the student’s progress. The main goal of these assessment tests is to pin down children’s learning difficulties and regularly provide them with collaborative one-to-one feedback on the basis of the outcomes of the assessments. The motive of our assessment policy is to help our students shine in their academic journey.

6. What kind of co-curricular activities do you conduct in your school?

At Sunbeam, we believe that co-curricular activities make a noteworthy contribution to the overall multidisciplinary development of students. Students at Sunbeam actively participate in a vast range of co-curricular activities for performing arts, public speaking, sports, debates, art workshops, technology incubators, etc.

7. Are there any independent competitions that students can take part in at your school?

Absolutely yes. Ever so often, we host competitions and offer our students opportunities to participate in independent external examinations that can be both at the national and international levels. We are determined to provide our students with the necessary exposure from a very early age.

8. What is the student-to-teacher ratio in the classrooms?

In order to maintain a healthy student-to-teacher ratio in our classrooms, we follow the CBSE guidelines for the affiliated schools.

9. Is there any support for children with special needs?

Education is a universal right, and Sunbeam believes in the idea of inclusive education and, therefore, we don’t set discriminate against students based on their ethnic, social, economic, or physical backgrounds.

Our faculty members and other staff are trained to understand the needs of students along with challenges like poor attention span or learning difficulties. All such students are given extra attention and additional sessions with their subject teachers, as required. We offer every bit of support to help them accomplish their learning goals, and at the same time, we make sure that they never feel left out.

10. In case of an emergency, is the school equipped, and are the staff trained to respond to a medical emergency?

Yes, all our staff members are professionally trained to react quickly to any kind of emergency. We also have maintained safety measures like fire extinguishers, CCTVs, and much more.

11. Does the school provide transportation facilities?

12. What are the other school facilities the school offers to the students?

At Sunbeam, students get seamless and quick access to all modern facilities like advanced libraries, modern science and computer labs, music studios, large auditoriums, audio-visual rooms, virtual reality labs, language labs, 3D printing, and Lego robotics labs, equipped fitness centers, and much more.

13. Is your school co-educational?

Yes, Sunbeam is a co-educational school, and we believe in gender equality.

14. Do you have qualified teachers?

We have highly skilled and qualified teachers with years of experience and expertise in their field. All our appointed teachers are approved by the Council, and they have all the required qualifications to do the job.

15. How do you certify the quality of the faculty at your school?

To maintain the quality of our faculties, we timely conduct CPD (Continual Professional Development) programs and seminars to help our teachers stay updated about the recent developments in the field of education. These programs also consist of one-to-one feedback sessions and discussions with experts in their related fields.

16. Do you implement modern teaching techniques in your classrooms?

Yes, we are very active in implementing modern teaching techniques in our classrooms to help students overcome the difficulties they are facing while learning so that they can better understand the modern educational tools like video, graphics, smart classes, virtual reality, and educational activities.

18. Does your school have playgrounds?

Yes, we have a sprawling, green campus of 20 acres and a tournament-sized playground for students so that they can participate in sports like cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, etc. We have two basketball courts and two tennis courts, equipped with modern amenities. International standard indoor sports arena for sports like badminton, snooker, table tennis, etc are also in the pipeline.

19. What steps have you taken to ensure security on the school campus?

At Sunbeam, we take security very seriously. We have deployed an app that is dedicated exclusively to allowing GPS tracking of all operational Sunbeam transportation.

Also, there are CCTV HD cameras that are placed strategically throughout the school premises.

Fire extinguishers are installed on every floor and at all vulnerable locations like labs and libraries. In addition to that, we periodically conduct emergency drills simulating situations to make sure students don’t panic in such conditions and they know exactly what to do and which escape routes to take.
